Your Final Assessment is conducted by an assessor approved by the Safety Regulator in your state. This is made up of a Theory, Practical and Calculation component – this course and all the assessments during training are designed to assist you to pass this Final Assessment!
If you are doing this assessment in the classroom - You will be given 1 hour to complete this assessment as a closed book exam. Cheating will not benefit you as you will not be able to pass your Final assessment if you cannot Satisfactorily complete this assessment. Please note that passing this practice test is no guarantee that you will pass the theory component of your Final assessment, further study may be required.
If you are doing this at home, online or away from your trainer - Your trainer will provide you with instructions. Ideally you should undertake this practice assessment after attending training, studying and by not referring to your notes. You should also set yourself a time limit of 1 hour in order to prepare adequately for your Final Assessment. If you are doing it away from the direct observation of your trainer a further “Challenge Assessment” may be conducted to ensure the work submitted is your own!

Your trainer will mark your test and may follow this with verbal clarification (during class , when you meet or by phone) if required (in case you can improve your answer with limited assistance of the trainer)
If you disagree with your trainers marking of your test, then you may request a review of your test paper. Please refer to your Student Handbook for further information about appeals or contact your trainer or the training centre.
If you require adjustments to this test, then please discuss this with your trainer before commencing the test. Examples include undertaking this test verbally instead of in writing. Other adjustments may be possible.
